Roundabout 3 V1.2 is coming soon as a free update on Steam.

This update will include 4 new levels:

  • Right Triangle, a classic-style level, similar to the ones already in the game.
  • Dot, which borrows some mechanics similar to one of my other games here on Newgrounds, Dot2Dot.
  • Line, a curvy level with unique animation.
  • Endless Square, a different kind of level that is not only endless as it's name suggests (I can't wait to see those high scores!), it progresses differently every time you play it.

Here's a quick trailer:

Roundabout 3 is coming to Steam on July 13th! Both the game and soundtrack will be available for roughly $1.99 (or the equivalent in your country's currency) each, or 25% off when bundled together. The game features Steam leader boards, achievements, and has 6 different levels each with their own unique music. Check the Steam store page for the full details, system requirements, and to add it to your wish-list if you're so inclined.

In other news, my two other Steam games are currently 50% off in the steam summer sale (until July 9th, 10AM Pacific):

Paper - A Game of Folding

Planaris 2+

That's all for now... Thank you!

So the Steam Lunar New Year sale is going on... Both of my Steam releases, Planaris 2+ and Paper - A Game of Folding, are 45% off for the duration of the sale! Now's a great time to snatch them up, and is one of the best ways to support me so I can keep doing what I do!

Thank you so much for your continued support!

I just released a new gadget/toy/thing?!

It's a music visualizer! It has over 50 of my songs & a bunch of settings you can tweak, as well as presets if you just want to see some neat eye candy!

Check it out!

As always, if you have any suggestions, feedback, etc, let me know! I always appreciate that stuff!

Also I just realized I have 185 fans now!! Thank you so so much! Can we get to 200 by the end of the year?

Hey!

So Planaris 2+ v1.1 went live on Steam earlier this month! It adds controller support (there's official bindings for the Dualshock 4 and Steam Controller, and you can make your own for practically any other controller) and a handful of new levels. Check it out on steam here.

Also, I've been working on my next project... It will be a re-imagining of my 2013 game, Folds (that link requires flash).

I'm calling it Paper: A Game of Folding... It's got a ton of improvements over Folds so far:

  • Re-imagined aesthetic, and higher level of polish... Back when I made Folds I was still pretty new to game development and cut a lot of corners. Now with some more experience under my belt, I think I can make the game much better!
  • Improved scoring system... The percentage score you got in Folds was janky at best... The way I did scoring back then left a lot to be desired. I've found a way to make it more consistent/precise!
  • Better, more optimized folding... In folds I think the highest # of folds was something like 8 or 9 if I remember correctly. That was because the exponential increase in computations required to fold that many times made things crawl to a halt on anything past that... In Paper, I've multi-threaded the folding system, and it's buttery smooth, even after 12+ folds!
  • Small things that make a big difference... For example, the Undo system now shows you a little preview of what each step along the way will look like, little things like that, that make for a more polished experience!
  • Snapping... You can now hold control to snap vertices to various points when you fold (such as other vertices, the center of shapes, and the center of edges). You can also hold shift to angle snap! This should make getting that elusive perfection score less aggravating.
  • One big feature I'm not ready to tell you about just yet. Because there's already many clones of Folds released on Google Play, etc, right now and I don't want someone to beat me to the punch... I'm keeping this last one tight-lipped... But I will say it's something that adds a lot of possibilities to the game!

I'm going to be releasing two versions of this upcoming game: there will be a free "lite" version, available in your web browser here on Newgrounds, and an extended "+" version I'll be releasing on Steam for a to-be-decided price... This is a model I think I am going to go forward with for monetizing my games from now on.

That's it for now... I should have more to share about my next game soon!

Planaris 2+ is now available on Steam for $5.99 USD (with a 25% discount at launch)!

It's an enhanced version of my game, Planaris 2, with the following improvements:

  • It's a standalone windows application... Which means better visual fidelity, better fullscreen/4k support, and in general a better experience all around.
  • It supports steam cloud saves, steam achievements, and steam leaderboards.
  • A bunch of all-new levels, some of which have added mechanics such as gravity, alternating dual-color shape placement, and additional piece shapes.
  • Small QoL features such as an indicator that shows you when & where the next lock will spawn.
  • Controller/Steam Big Picture support coming in version 1.1 -- which will have a public beta soon and should be live late July-early August.

To celebrate, I'm giving away 5 keys to the first 5 people to comment on this post! So leave a comment below & if you're one of the first 5 I'll send you a free key for the game on Steam :).

Hey!

I'm super excited to announce that I'll be releasing my first game on Steam next month!

Planaris 2+, an enhanced version of Planaris 2, will be releasing on Steam on July 5th(assuming there's no unforeseen consequences!).

There's some key enhancements that Planaris 2+ has over Planaris 2:

  1. It's a standalone windows application... Which means better visual fidelity, better fullscreen/4k support, and in general a better experience all around.
  2. It supports steam cloud saves, steam achievements, and steam leaderboards.
  3. A bunch of all-new levels, some of which have added mechanics such as gravity, alternating dual-color shape placement, and additional piece shapes.
  4. Small QoL features such as an indicator that shows you when & where the next lock will spawn.

Check out the store page on steam.

Also, I'm probably going to be giving away a small number of steam keys free to NG users soon too, so if you want one keep your eyes out for that (I'll be making another post on my profile regarding this as the release date approaches).

That's all for now, thank you so much for your continued support!

Hey!

So I just released a new track here on Newgrounds, check it out!

With that out of the way I'd like to give you a taste of what I'm working on next. It's going to be a sequel to my game ZomBrawl! I've got some inspiration and ideas to make ZomBrawl 2 much more fun than the first one... I've written up a design document/overview sort of thing on my Patreon page if you want more information! You can expect me to post updates on my progress as I continue to develop the idea. If you have any feedback or ideas, now's the best time to chime in as I'm in the very first stages of development... So I'd love to hear from you! Perhaps as I get something playable together I'll post a preview build if there's any interest in that sort of thing... Let me know if that sounds like something you'd want!

That's all for now... You'll hear from me again as soon as I've made more progress on ZomBrawl 2!

Just a quick post to let you know that I've added another tier to my patreon page with additional benefits! For a pledge of $10 or more (which you can cancel or reduce at any time and keep the games you've downloaded) you get access to HD standalone windows builds of my games. Currently there are 9 games available, and as I release more games they will be available through this system as well.

Since the standalone builds aren't restricted to running in a web browser, they offer benefits such as better frame rates and higher resolutions (1080p & 4k for example). These builds should provide the best possible experience for playing my games. If this sounds interesting to you check the FAQ for more information...

Keep in mind that mac/linux builds are not available as I wouldn't have a way of testing on these platforms... Although if there's enough requests for such builds, I will take it into consideration!

Thank you so much for your continued support!

I released another game! Dot2Dot is now live on Newgrounds!

This one's similar to my previous game, Roundabout 2, in that it's a simple endless one-button game... Don't get addicted!

I'd love to hear your feedback, it helps me make better games in the future and I always make sure to read every review(Although I don't always have time to reply to each one).

Oh and by the way, and this game has a funny little easter egg in it... it's nothing huge, but yeah. :P.

That's it for now, thanks!
